Planning a Visit
Hemington Natural Burials is open to visitors 7 days a week. The site features a large car park, hard paths around the site to allow easy access throughout the year and benches to take a rest and take in the peaceful surroundings.

We will not close the site to others during burial services however we do ask that you behave appropriately and that priority for parking and access is given to those attending the service. If you want to check ahead to see if any services are happening before your visit, please check the calendar below.

Dogs are allowed on site at Hemington Natural Burial, however these should be kept on a lead and that owners clean up after their dogs and take the waste home.

Please note - there are no toilet facilities on the site so plan ahead of your visit.

If you're visiting from further afield and need accommodation, check out our Local Links page with some local recommendations.

What Can I Bring?
As a Natural Burial Ground we have rules on what can be left on graves. This is to maintain the character and integrity of the site.

Only items such as fresh flowers with no packaging can be left. Please do not bring plants or ornaments along. Anything that does not meet our terms and conditions will be removed. Simply, you can leave anything which can go in a normal compost bin. A particular thing we would like to avoid is floral foam - this unfortunately has to go to landfill.
